Woolly House

Cozy, small, lakefront cabin in a fantastic location!  Great lake and mountain views.  Catch and release fishing at your doorstep. We provide a dock and watercraft for use at your own risk.

Amenities

Decks

Furnished deck, overlooking Sun Valley Lake, with a sunny southern exposure.  Has deck gates to keep small children and dogs from running off the deck.

Sleeps up to 4 people.

Beds/Baths

2 beds, 1 bath.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. There is also a fold-out twin size sofa bed.

Pack-and-play crib available. There are clean linens on the beds when you arrive. We provide a limited number of towels.  You may wish to bring some extra towels.

Kitchen

Well equipped kitchen with microwave, range and oven, cooking utensils, plates, etc.  The Woolly House does not have a dishwasher. The refrigerators are two small under-counter refrigerator/freezers.

Dining Room

Small dining table with four chairs. Out-door dining on the deck.

Fireplaces

Large wood burning fireplace in great room.   You are welcome to use any firewood stacked on the deck but we do not routinely provide firewood. It is available for purchase in town.

Laundry

Washer and dryer available at the Laundromat in town.

Communications and TV

High speed Wi-Fi Internet.  Bring your own laptop computer. Direct TV Satellite system, and DVD player. Most cell phone services work well, especially Verizon.

Barbecue

Propane barbecue on the deck. (Propane available at Winding River and Elk Creek Campgrounds if you run out.)

Pets

Well-behaved pets are allowed with prior approval. Please discuss when making your reservation.  There is a small additional charge for pets.

Other Information

No Smoking!

No parties or events! The house, decks, and the lake facilities are for the use of registered guests only. Please do not invite extra people to visit, without prior permission from Stan or Rhondda.

No loud music!

No outdoor fires!

No tents or RV’s allowed on the property.


Rates and Availability

Summer (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend): $215/night for up to 4 people.
Xmas/New Year and July 4 Holiday period: $225/night for up to 4 people.
Other times: $140 – $185/night for up to 4 people.

Additional people (including babies and children) up to a maximum of 5 people at $15/person/night.

Please Note: We try very hard to ensure that all of the above features and amenities will be available to you. However, we do not guarantee availability and function of every amenity and feature. We would attempt to repair any problem or replace an item as soon as possible, but sometimes it is impossible to fix things on very short notice. We do not offer refunds for problems beyond our control, e.g.  broken appliances, carpet stains, short term power outages, TV  outage, Wi-Fi outage etc.  If the house becomes uninhabitable due to a long term power outage, plumbing problems etc., then we would try to find other equivalent accommodations, or offer a refund for the unused nights. Refunds are limited to amounts already paid to Moose Lake Lodge, LLC for the unused time. RENTAL POLICIES
