Snowmobiling In And Around Grand Lake

If you love to snowmobile, you’ll  love staying at one of the homes at Moose Lake Lodge!

You can snowmobile from your doorstep to the town of Grand Lake, which is an easy 3.5 miles down the road. You can also ride to the South Supply Creek Trailhead, which is a popular snowmobile trail. There’s plenty of space to park your trailers, snowmobiles, and vehicles on our property. And if you need to rent a snowmobile, rental sleds are available just ½ mile away.

Our comfortable lakefront houses have wonderful mountain views and sunny, southern exposures. There are fantastic groomed snowmobile trails, lots of hills, and fabulous mountain scenery at every turn.  At Moose Lake Lodge, we’re pet friendly, so you can even bring your dogs along on your winter vacation!

Grand Lake is known as the “snowmobile capitol of Colorado,” and here’s why:

  • Grand Lake has been designated as one of the top 15 snowmobiling areas in the United States.
  • In the wintertime, the streets of Grand Lake are left snowpacked, so you can legally snowmobile through town, stopping to dine, shop, or enjoy the nightlife at the 60 businesses along the “Old West” Boardwalk.
  • There are more than 300 miles of marked snowmobile trails in and around Grand Lake, 150 of which are groomed.
  • The variety of snowmobiling options include everything from cruiser trails to single-track, wide bowls to open meadows.

Please contact us regarding our low lodging rates during snowmobiling season. For more information, or to make a reservation, please call (303) 740-7441, or e-mail mooselakelodge@msn.com.
