Pet Friendly Lodging In Grand Lake, Colorado
At Moose Lake Lodge, dogs are not only allowed, but they’re warmly welcomed, and most dogs love hanging out in the woods around our houses and cabins and swimming in the lake.
Following are Moose Lake Lodge dog policies:
- There is a damage deposit required with all house and cabin rental reservations.
- All pets need to be completely housetrained.
- Dogs left unattended inside the homes or cabins need to be kept in a kennel or crate.
- Barking isn’t allowed. Sound travels across the lake, and if there are any complaints from neighbors, you’ll be asked to leave.
- Dogs can’t be left alone on the decks of the homes or cabins, or tied up outside.
- There’s a leash law in the area, enforced by local animal control.
- Dogs aren’t allowed on the furniture or beds in the rental homes and cabins.
- Wildlife is all around the rental homes and cabins at Moose Lake Lodge, including mountain lions, coyotes, moose, deer, fox, elk, bears, porcupines, beavers, and raccoons, so it’s important to keep your dogs close to you and under your control at all times.
